Overview
Parenting Guru is a mindful-parenting app built around a single daily focus rather than a checklist. Each child gets a guided day of short activities, expert-led live sessions and a growing keepsake of milestones — plus an SOS that hands a parent the words to say the moment a tantrum starts, at any hour.
Problem
- Competing apps open on a long daily list — parents meet the day already behind, and the app that was meant to help becomes another source of guilt.
- Deficit-style progress rings measure what a parent missed rather than what they managed.
- The hardest moments arrive at 2 AM, when nobody has time to search an article library for an answer.
- Single-child models do not match real families, and interrupting prompts and extra taps were the top complaint levelled at the category leaders.
Solution
- The home leads with one clear focus for the day and makes everything else optional, so a parent can succeed in a few minutes.
- Progress is a thin bar and a keepsake weekly recap instead of a completion score — it motivates and never shames.
- SOS is first-class in the navigation: tap “Tantrum” or “Won’t sleep” and get exactly what to say, no searching required.
- A child switcher and a day switcher fit real households — more than one kid, and any past or future day still open, because nothing expires.
- In free trial, locked activities stay visible and dimmed behind an “Unlock with trial” badge rather than hidden, so parents see the value before subscribing — while safety guidance and Growth Story stay free forever.

Wireframes
Wireframes establish the core structure and layout of a project, providing a visual guide for content placement and functionality. This ensures alignment among team members, helping streamline the design process and achieve efficient project execution.
One focus a day
The home opens on a single activity for the chosen child, with everything else — recipes, music, family challenges — parked under “if you have extra time”. Live sessions sit one scroll below, and the SOS card is always within reach, so the day has one goal and no backlog.
The library behind the day
Behind each daily focus sits a library a parent can search when they want more — short-term problems answered in a few minutes, expert workshops to book, age-matched recipes and nutrition, games and skill boosters. Everything is filed by child, so the app knows whose day it is.
