Overview
A premium, curated food-discovery platform built around dishes and experiences rather than restaurants — designed to make every food choice intentional, memorable, and worth trying.
Problem
- Mainstream food apps optimize for availability and volume: endless listings, venue-level star ratings, and crowdsourced noise.
- They answer “what’s open near me,” not “what’s actually worth ordering.”
- For people who care about quality over quantity, there’s no product that treats taste as an identity or dishes as the unit of discovery.
Solution
- Platrr. reframes discovery at the dish level and layers a real community on top of it. Instead of averaged venue scores, users get meaningful, dish-specific reviews; instead of passive browsing, they discover curated experiences, host and join events, nominate cafés, and build a personal taste identity over time.
- The positioning is deliberate: not “what’s available” — “what’s worth trying.”
- Core screens prototyped (Home, Explore, Collection, Taste Rooms, Profile, Progress) with the design system and theming locked; remaining flows in build toward handoff.

Wireframes
Wireframes establish the core structure and layout of a project, providing a visual guide for content placement and functionality. This ensures alignment among team members, helping streamline the design process and achieve efficient project execution.

Design approach
A Neumorphism system built on the principle “soft depth, minimal noise, premium feel.” Soft dual-shadow surfaces, tactile pressed/selected states, and generous calm space create a premium, elegant read while keeping the interface clean. Full light and dark theming, Geologica as the typeface, and a defined token palette (light #E9EAF0 bg / primary #C56A2D; dark #181818 bg / primary #C1692F) keep it visually cohesive across the app.
